About Me
Eben has a Master’s in Counseling from Texas A&M University–San Antonio in December 2019.
His clinical background includes supporting individuals facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, self-injury, substance use, family-related trauma, and bullying. He has a particular focus on working with adult Hispanic men in their 20s and 30s, as well as members of the LGBTQ+ community. His primary therapeutic approach is cognitive behavioral therapy, and he incorporates play therapy when working with children. He offers both in-person and virtual sessions, depending on client preference.
With deep Texas roots and a family history that includes Texas vaqueros, Ebenezer has a strong connection to the outdoors. In his spare time, he enjoys activities such as hiking, cycling, camping, and bodybuilding. He also devotes time to his spiritual practices, creative expression through art, and caring for his family and pets. Raised in a Southern Baptist church, Ebenezer is also available to support clients who wish to integrate their Christian faith into the therapeutic process.
